So it begins! Weight Loss - Beta Test?

So I'm trying out this blog thing. Not sure where it's going to go. Pretty sure I'm not going to have the most clever posts. This is about my journey.  Just your average girl who needs to lose a ton of weight and stress.

Background. So, my family up and moved from Texas to Tennessee 10 months ago. Greg opportunity but I miss the land and people very much. Not surprisingly I packed on the stress and pounds. 

Not sure if this part of my journey is in the alpha (very beginning) phase of testing what works or the beta phase. I'm hoping this is the last phase before the release of Stephanie 2.0.....or is that 5.0? No matter. I did not want the lack of a clever title to keep me from documenting this journey. Dear reader, I am not fully transparent like many bloggers. So, I will not disclose my weight. I will, document the weight loss if it gets to that point.

What will I do? Reading a book named "The Plan" at the recommendation of a dear friend. This book is a tool to help one figure out what foods aid weight loss and what foods hinder that for some people. Maybe I'll throw a little weight watchers in there. Definitely Less refined sugars and carbohydrates over all. Pondering trying an online diet bet where you wager money that you will lose weight. Whatever it is - I think I'm ready. Step one is read "The Plan" and come up with a plan. Also, I need to be kind to myself on this journey. Here goes nothing!
